When you hear someone say they had a ‘salad for dinner’, we all automatically imagine a bowl of lettuce and think ‘why?!’ (Well I do 😉) But that is wrong. I regularly make myself a yummy chicken salad for dinner as it is quick, easy and a great way to eat a variety of healthy things in one meal. Tonight was salad night and I thought I would share with you what I included in tonights fun salad.
🍴🍅🌽Yummy Chicken Salad 🌽🍅🍴
🔸Hard Boiled Egg for extra protein
🔹Large spoonful of Homemade Coleslaw
🔸Spoonful of sweetcorn
🔹Halved cherry tomatoes
🔸Salad leaves mixed with chopped celery, pepper and olives with a little balsamic vinegar over the top.
And there we have it! A yummy salad filled with healthy ingredients, not just a bowl of boring lettuce leaves! Really fills me up!
